360° profile mastering
Ignite Growth Platform combines data from a wide range of sources, then applies our householding process and healthcare-specific, data-science-based modeling to build 360° profiles for every person in your population (age 18+). These profiles activate and inform your marketing strategies, and bring a level of accuracy that makes personalization worth the investment.
Mastering process and rules
To begin building the 360° profile, we match individuals with common attributes across multiple data sources, including health risk assessment (HRA) and form submissions, using a predefined set of rules. If there is not a match, a new profile is created.
Simple matching
We start with this simplest rules to determine a merge or not:
- If there's a match between unique source IDs match (typically the Medical Record Number), the records will most likely merge. If the IDs match but the demographics are radically different, we won’t allow the merge.
Complex matching
If the simple rules don’t produce a result, we move onto the more detailed rules, comparing specific demographic attributes to determine if the records should merge or not. While Ignite Growth Platform supports comprehensive demographic data to give you insights into patients and consumers in your market, only the attributes listed below are used to maintain strict matching:
- First Name*
- Last Name*
- Address & ZIP code* (excluding city and state)
- Suffix
- Date of Birth
- Gender
Using those attributes, we apply the following 5 rules to determine if records are for the same person and should therefore be merged, or a new profile should be created.

- The mastering rules are strict due to the number of similarities we require. But, only one of those rules must be met to confirm a match and merge the records.
- Close match rules are used to identify double characters, misspellings, and ordering issues.
- “Cleansers” are also applied to enhance comparisons and outputs.
