Overview

The national Do Not Call (DNC) registry is a federally controlled database of contact numbers who have indicated that they want to limit telemarketing contacts to their phone  numbers, including SMS solicitation.  Each individual healthcare organization is responsible for acquiring and maintaining a Subscription Account Number (SAN) for licensed access to the registry. As SANs must be acquired, paid for and managed by the health systems themselves,  WebMD Ignite does not provide DNC scrubbing on IGP directly. However, managed call and SMS campaigns deployed by WebMD Ignite do include DNC services, utilizing the customer-provided SAN.

How to receive access to the DNC registry

The DNC registry allows individuals to protect their contact number(s) from unwanted solicitation and can result in fines if regulations are not followed. As a service provider, you may apply for a subscription and a Subscription Account Number (SAN) to certain area codes, allowing you to use SMS solicitation for numbers in that area legally.

Applying for a SAN is done through the Federal Trade Commission, and is not included in Ignite Growth Platform by default. Since each organization is responsible for their own subscription and region, this is not a service we can provide.
