Release notes: July 8, 2025
In this release: Enhanced risk model suite | Better session management

Next-gen models. Next-level targeting.
Ignite Growth Platform’s patient and consumer risk models already outperform traditional targeting, helping you reach the right people with the right message before their moment of need. Now, we’re thrilled to deliver a significant update to the model suite — sharpening your marketing edge to drive better campaign results and health outcomes.
What it is
The release both expands and enhances our collection in powerful new ways:
Nearly 100 new models: Additions across multiple key service lines — including cardiology, gynecology, obstetrics, orthopedics, and urology — bringing the total to over 650 unique models (325+ each for patients and consumers)
Greater precision: Enables more tailored campaigns, with additional service line breakouts by inpatient, outpatient, and emergency
Improved performance: Testing showed an average 5% increase in lift across models, helping you find at-risk individuals more efficiently
Expanded learning: The models are trained on larger datasets, improving accuracy even for rare conditions or procedures
Evolving with healthcare: Incorporates the latest changes to medical code sets for the trusted targeting you rely on
Faster time to market: As models are updated or added, you can leverage the new insights to quickly respond to market needs
How it works
No changes to your workflow
You now have access to all the enhanced risk models, and you’ll still use them the same way to create your audiences — choosing from the risk model selector or applying models individually with the criteria filters.
Replacing retired models
With the addition of improved models, we discontinued 23 older ones. See the full list of new and retired models.
For self-service clients, as we shared prior to the release:
- If any retired models were in your existing audiences and you had us automatically replace them with recommended alternatives, those updates are complete.
- If you opted out of our automated updates, you can now manually update your audiences using the new or retained models that best fit your campaign objectives. See all retired models with recommended replacements. If you need assistance, reach out to your Account Manager or submit a support ticket.
Impact to existing audience size
In our testing, we didn’t see major changes in counts. That said, if you’re using other audience criteria filters, some variation is possible. We recommend monitoring your campaigns and adjusting if needed to maintain your volume goals.
Reminder: Updated patient risk model default
Ahead of this release, we updated the default category selection for the patient risk model. It now includes the top 9% of individuals (categories 4–7), versus the previous default of the top 19% (categories 3–7).
This change reflects what most clients already select and brings the patient model in line with the consumer risk model default. To include individuals in audiences at more moderate risk, we recommend intentionally adding category 3 percentages (81% - 91%) to your selection, rather than relying on it as a default.

Why it matters
This update helps you achieve your goals with greater efficiency and precision. We’re confident these enhancements will drive significant value for you — maximizing campaign dollars and results, and reaching those most in need of your services.
