Question

Where do Unmastered records come from?

Answer

Unmastered Person records are created when a call to action requires fewer fields than what is required to create a Mastered record: First name, Last name, Address line 1, and ZIP code.

Examples:

  • A form to request information or to sign up for a newsletter that's integrated into marketing automation
  • A seminar attendance list of just First Name, Last Name, and email address or phone number and loaded to Ignite Growth Platform
  • A custom activity file with as little as an email or phone number associated with a marketing event (e.g., campaign ID) and date

If you're interested in providing lists to be loaded to Ignite Growth Platform to have Unmastered records created for retargeting, follow-up and/or reporting, please submit a support ticket.
