Why can't I see reporting on Unmastered records only?
Answer
There are a few reasons why this isn't possible:
- Unmastered records do not have enough demographic information to identify who they are/who completed a call to action (which is how Unmastered records are created).
- Lower-confidence linking methodology (learn more) requires Mastered Persons records in order for it to work.
- Mastered Persons records must be included in reporting since downstream activity data is saved to the Mastered record; without Mastered Persons records, only leads metrics would be shown in reporting (and that information is already available in Mastered Persons records-only reporting, as well as when Unmastered records are included).
