Question

Do individual records get updated with USPS National Change of Address (NCOA) information?

Answer

The 3rd-party vendor WebMD Ignite uses for consumer and patient records is a licensee of the USPS’s NCOALink product. As data enters Ignite Growth Platform, out-of-date addresses are automatically flagged or updated, and when an address changes, the system links the record to the same person to prevent duplicates

For broader coverage, we also leverage the vendor’s  Proprietary Change of Address (PCOA) to identify movers who may not have registered with the USPS. Your database is reprocessed at least every 80 days to keep addresses current and ensure audiences meet requirements for postal updates and discounts.
