Do Unmastered Persons records merge with Mastered records?
Answer
No, Unmastered records do not merge or stay linked permanently to Mastered Persons records in your platform. They ONLY stay linked to the matched Mastered Persons record for the specific campaign's reporting purposes. Unmastered records do not get updated with new information, even if the email address/phone number matches—a new Unmastered record is created and will be available for re-targeting and reporting.
Note: marketing automation tools will deduplicate the list of email addresses so emails are sent only once to each email address.
