Question

How do I capture/attribute/track attendees of an event in a campaign?

Answer

Let's say you have an in-person event coming up, and you'd like to capture attendees and load them to Ignite Growth Platform as an event list. How would you go about this and what fields would you need to capture for matching in the platform? Once loaded, do you attribute to a campaign and track downstream encounters/results?

This an example where you'd use a Custom Activity list:

  1. First, submit a support ticket to get a template to fill out with the event information.
  2. Upload the completed template via SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol).
  3. WebMD Ignite will verify the formatting and transfer to your Ignite Growth Platform.

Once in your platform, you can use this list to build out an audience, attach it to a campaign and track downstream results!
